LETTER TO YOUR HEART

Dear Heart,
Are you there? If so, please ask your mind to be still and silent for the next few minutes so we can have a true heart-to-heart conversation. I wrote this letter for you, and I’m so thankful that you’re here and that we get to spend this time together. I have something very important I’d like to share with you.
I know that you have been hurt. I know that you have been taken for granted and even taken advantage of. I know that you have given all your love and felt the pain of not having that love returned to you. I know that sometimes you ache when those you love don’t treat you according to your wishes, and I know that sometimes, it feels like you are all alone.

But you are not alone. And you are not broken. You are here; you are alive and beating strong.

You are so full of love, and you have so much to give that you don’t know what to do with yourself sometimes. That’s what hurts the most. The weight of the love you have within you that you’re holding back because of those past experiences. And the suffering from those hurts that you’re not letting go. You know which ones I’m talking about. They were hard at the time, but we both know they were brought to make you stronger and to teach you something about who YOU really are.
I am writing you this letter from my heart to yours to tell you that I see you. I know who you really are, and I want to tell you that it’s ok to come out of hiding. I can’t promise that you will never be challenged and that you’ll always get exactly what you want, but I can promise you that you will have a richer, more fulfilling life when you let your love come forth. When you give it away unconditionally and trust that it will come back to you in abundant measure, even if it comes from places and people you don’t expect, you will be filled, and you will see what your true purpose is.
The world needs more of your love. That special, warm blend of goodness that only you can provide. We need it, but only you can choose to give it. And you know who else needs it?
Yup, you. You need your love too. And all this time, while you’ve been keeping it from others out of fear of getting hurt, you’ve also been keeping it from yourself. You see, you’re most alive when you are open and giving. When you force your doors shut and keep to yourself, that only increases the feelings of solitude and suffering.
My hope is that, together, we can make this a new beginning. Let’s make today the start of a new story for us and our bottomless wells of love. Let it be a story of giving, of sharing, of connecting, of shining our light, and of serving others. Let it be a story of triumph and transformation.
We were born to love with all our hearts.

Start with you. Give yourself all your love. Don’t hold anything back; don’t save any for later. Turn your attention inward and shower yourself with warmth and kindness for no good reason at all.

I mean ALL of it. Soon, you will be overflowing with joy, and that love will grow and multiply. From there, you will have more than enough to give to others, and that love will bring forth more love and more love.
The more you open up and give your love away, the more alive and fulfilled you will feel. I promise.
Sending you all my love to get the pilot light in you heart switched on.
Thanks for spending this quality time with me, for reading this letter, and for being open to receiving this message.
Write me back if you like :-)

The world reacts to Sanusi’s Suspension

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan suspended respected central bank governor Lamido Sanusi on Thursday.

This was a shock decision that caused the naira to fall more than 1 percent against the dollar.
Sanusi, who was due to end his term in June, had been an increasingly outspoken critic of Jonathan's government and its record on tackling endemic corruption in Africa's biggest oil producer.
Following are analysts' reactions:
ANGUS DOWNIE, HEAD OF ECONOMIC RESEARCH, ECOBANK
"Sanusi did a fantastic job as governor and it will be very difficult to find someone that can continue his line of effort in restructuring the banking sector and strengthening monetary policy to the next phase.
"He was due to step down in June but when something unexpected like this happens it does raise concerns about what is happening with the direction of policy in Nigeria.
"The immediate reaction to Sanusi's dismissal is a knee jerk reaction. This immediate fall in the naira would be expected in any emerging market or frontier market. Fundamentally there's no reason for the naira to fall further.
"You've got a very safe pair of hands that are taking over in the immediate period, Sarah Alade. In terms of the economic policy agenda, that's her remit. She's the deputy governor responsible for economic policy."
ALAN CAMERON, ECONOMIST AT NIGERIAN STOCKBROKER CSL
"It's not so much what it does to the CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria), which we believe had a strong institutional foundation and skilled leaders, but what it says about the Presidency itself.
"If the Jonathan administration is willing to discard a safe pair of hands at a time when the currency is being tested anyway, it shows more political motivation than economic awareness.
"Speaking from the perspective of international investors, this is likely to go down badly."
MELISSA VERREYNE, ECONOMIST, NKC ECONOMISTS IN CAPE TOWN
"This is very worring for the central bank's independence, and creates uncertainty about the future monetary policy direction.
"The strange allegations made against Mr Sanusi, and the fact that the government was not content with simply letting his term expire, appear to be aimed at sending a warning to outspoken central bank officials.
"The ability of the central bank to criticise fiscal policy and the remittance of oil revenue is important, as it improves the accountability of the public sector.
"Any reversal of this will jeopardise the central bank's ability to maintain price and exchange rate stability, due to the pressure on foreign exchange reserves caused by corruption and government withdrawals."
YVONNE MHANGO, AFRICA ANALYST, RENCAP
"His suspension does raise concern among investors about the ability to sustain the naira at present levels. We will see more pressure on the currency between now and June, and more weakness than we had anticipated prior to this news.
"You're going to get a much more conservative CBN governor.
The impression from the statement is that he (Jonathan) thought the governor had gone above and beyond his mandate. It suggests that whoever he selects going forward will toe the line and be more conservative."
RAZIA KHAN, HEAD OF AFRICA RESEARCH, STANDARD CHARTERED
"The nature of the suspension will come as a significant shock to foreign portfolio investors, whose willingness to invest in Nigeria was very much influenced by the transparency and anti-inflation credibility associated with Sanusi's policies.
"This will be a significant negative for the Nigerian naira and Nigerian financial markets. Investors will pay attention to whichever successor is announced, but this is unlikely to sit comfortably."
SAMIR GADIO, EMERGING MARKET STRATEGIST, STANDARD BANK
"This is a disruptive move which indicates that the CBN has de facto lost much of its independence.
"Clearly it is driven by political motives given Sanusi's vocal criticism of oil revenue leakages and the opaque fiscal system in Nigeria.
"If anything, this development will compound upside risks to USD/NGN by precipitating the foreign exit and a negative domestic positioning against the naira.
"Foreign investors are likely to be active sellers of Nigerian assets in coming days subject to market liquidity constraints."

Nigeria's Sanusi responds to suspension

Earlier today, the Nigerian presidency announced its suspension of its central bank governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

At the time of hearing of his suspension, the governor was attending a meeting in Niamey, Niger along with other heads from the Central Bank of West African States to meet with the Nigerian and Ghanaian presidents.
According to Abati, Sanusi was suspended on the grounds that his tenure had allegedly been characterised by various acts of financial recklessness and misconduct. According to the federal government, these actions are inconsistent with the administration’s vision of a central bank propelled by the core values of focused economic management, prudence, transparency and financial discipline.
“Well, I don’t know what they are talking about. … [W]hen I come back, I’ll see what those allegations are,” Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) told CNBC Africa.
According to him, the Financial Reporting Council looked through the banks audited accounts some time ago and asked a few questions which were sent to the president however, there was no feedback.
“I don’t think there’s any issue that’s been raised that has not been raised before, but you know we all know what this is about. This is about the consequences for the changes that I have made and this is something that is long overdue. I’m surprised it took them so long,” he explained.
Sanusi was appointed as the governor of the central bank in 2009 and has since led some significant changes in Nigeria’s financial sector. In August 2009, he led the CBN to save eight banks found to have failed the ‘stress test’.
“Basically, my biggest concern is for the system and I hope that the Nigerian economy will not be hurt by this. I also hope the integrity of the central bank will be protected … I’ve been fortunate to have had an opportunity to do some good work on the bank on stability. I would not want to see all of that unravelled and no individual is worth it,” he said.
Late last year, he wrote to the president alleging the state owned Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation had retained almost 50 billion dollars in revenue that was due to the government. On 4 February this year, he told the senate finance committee that about 20 billion dollars was still outstanding.
“You can suspend an individual but you can’t suspend the truth. If this is all about the concerns around oil revenues in the oil sector, if this is going to bring back the 20 billion dollars then that is fine,” he added.
Sanusi believes that his legacy of low inflation, stable exchange rate, a reformed and well governed banking system, of robust reserves, financial inclusion and of an independent central bank will be remembered and that it will be recorded in history.
“Like I said, I have no regrets, I have no ill-feelings, with no sadness, I’m happy. I’m proud of what I have done,” he concluded.

Church Members Donates 200 New Prado Jeeps To Bishop Oyedepo Worth N2.1 Billion

Enconium Weekly reports that 59 year old clergy, who will turn 60 on September 27, Bishop David Oyedepo, told his ardent congregation that he needed 200 new Prado jeeps for ministerial purpose. It was gathered that the exact reasons for the need were undisclosed, but it might not be unconnected to the fact that it is for use in some of their branches manned by his ordained Pastors scattered across the country.

Inquiries further revealed that a brand new Prado jeep goes for about N10.6 million thus, the estimated cost of 200 Prado jeeps comes to N2.1 billion. It is revealed that it was an individual contribution by wealthy members who voluntarily donated the jeeps. Even though the place of purchase cannot be easily determined nor the identity of the donors revealed, it is gathered that the jeeps are tucked away inside Cannanland at Otta, Ogun State.

It would be recalled that Enconium revealed in January 2013 that during Winners Chapel Cross-Over Service on Tuesday January 1, 2013, in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun state, worshipers made donations of over 700 exotic cars to the church. People who felt they had been richly blessed in 2012 came to the Cross-Over Service with different donations. Most significant was the number of exotic brand new cars and SUVs that flooded Canaanland. The people who donated them dropped the keys and documents of the cars during offering. The church auctioned the cars at very cheap prizes to its members. Some cars were sold for as low as N300,000.

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola’s administration has banned indecent dressing among female and male public servants at the Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja. Jonathan suspends Sanusi as CBN Governor

CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday suspended Mallam  Lamido Sanusi as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. The suspension order was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.
Abati said Jonathan had found out that Sanusi’s tenure as the CBN governor has been characterised by acts of financial recklessness and misconduct which are inconsistent with his administration’s vision.
He named a Deputy Governor of the CBN, Dr. Sarah Alade, as the acting governor. He said Alade would remain in charge until the conclusion of ongoing investigations into breaches of enabling laws, due process and mandate of  the CBN.
The statement read, “Having taken special notice of reports of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria and other investigating bodies, which indicate clearly that Mallam Sanusi Lamido  Sanusi’s tenure has been characterized by various acts of financial recklessness and misconduct which are inconsistent with the administration’s vision of a Central Bank propelled by the core values of focused economic management, prudence, transparency and financial discipline.
“Being also deeply concerned about far-reaching irregularities  under Mallam Sanusi’s watch which have distracted the Central Bank away from the pursuit and achievement of its statutory mandate; and “Being determined to urgently re-position the Central Bank of Nigeria for greater efficiency, respect for due process and accountability, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has ordered the immediate suspension of Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi from the Office of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
“President Jonathan has further ordered that Mallam Sanusi should hand over to the most senior Deputy Governor of the CBN, Dr Sarah Alade who will serve as Acting Governor until the conclusion of on-going investigations into breaches of enabling laws, due process and mandate of the CBN.
“The President expects that as Acting Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Alade will focus on the core mandate of the Bank and conduct its affairs with greater professionalism, prudence and propriety to restore domestic and international confidence in the country’s apex bank.
“The Federal Government of Nigeria reassures all stakeholders in Nigeria’s financial and monetary system that this decision has been taken in absolute good faith, in the overall interest of the Nigerian economy and in accordance with our laws and due process.”

Cultists kill Bowen student for rejecting sexual advances

Opeyemi
The life of a 17-year-old student of Bowen University, Opeyemi Odusanya, has been cut short by some cult members in Lagos.
It was gathered that the undergraduate was murdered for allegedly rejecting sexual advances from some youths in the area and also for “being too proud.”
PUNCH Metro learnt that the victim was a 300 level student of Biochemistry at the university.
Police authorities told our correspondent that Opeyemi was stabbed to death by the cultists at her parents’ house in the Alakuko area of Lagos on February 3, 2014.
Police sources told PUNCH Metro that investigations had revealed that the culprits were residents of the area.
A police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “In the afternoon of February 3, 2014, the deceased went to buy airtime for her telephone. As she was returning, a group of cult members trailed and entered the house with her.
“Opeyemi was alone at home when the guys entered. They instructed her to turn on the generator so that if she screamed, no one would hear.
“We believe that they wanted to rape the girl, but she must have put up a fierce struggle as the whole house was scattered.
“The guys subsequently stabbed her in the stomach several times and ripped out her intestines.
“After killing her, they took her phone and the keys to her parents’ vehicle, a jeep, which was on the table. They stole the jeep, which was parked in the compound, after killing the girl.”
The sources told our correspondent that after the guys had fled, they used Opeyemi’s telephone line to send a text message to her mother, explaining why they killed the 17-year-old.
The text message, which was typed in English and Yoruba languages, and made available to our correspondent, read, “Your child has been proud. We have been toasting her, but she has refused to accept. We have killed her to teach a lesson. We have also driven your car away.
“If you want your car back, come to Lakas Hotel or Cele Bus Stop around Mile 2 to pick it up. If we see policemen around, we will kill everybody.”
Residents of the area told our correspondent that the victim’s mother, Olayinka, had a panic attack after reading the message and quickly informed those that were with her.
However, a phone call from the family’s housemaid was said to have confirmed Olayinka’s fears that the text message was not a bluff.
It was learnt that she returned to the house to meet the lifeless body of her child.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the mother of the deceased, who is a senior official at the Mushin Local Government secretariat, later reported the incident at the Alakuko Police Division.
A police source told our correspondent that the murder weapon had been recovered.
“By all indications, the girl was not raped because her clothes were intact. The knife used in killing her has been recovered,” the policeman said.
It was gathered that the parents of the girl had relocated to the Redemption Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Our correspondent, who visited the Facebook page of the deceased, observed that tributes had been pouring in for the 300 level student.
One of her friends, Folake Kuforiji, wrote, “RIP Dear, May your soul rest in perfect peace and may the Almighty God protect and console the rest of your family. A real gem is gone. I remember back then in secondary school when we used to call you Ope International. You left us too soon, but God knows best.”
A man, Adeniji Chigozie, who claimed to be her former teacher, wrote, “Remember those days in class. You were one of the students I cherished and respected. You were respectful and intelligent. As a teacher, I was very proud of you. The details of the cause of your death are still sketchy and confusing. Nigeria has lost another intelligent and beautiful mind – A great star has fallen!
“Above all, I wish your family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this shocking loss – May God in His gracious nature comfort them, amen!”
When contacted on the telephone, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, said, “I have called the Divisional Police Officer at the Alakuko Police Division and he said he was not aware of the incident.”

SHOCKING: Mother Catches Son and Daughter Having Sex

A brother and sister in Bulawayo's high-density suburb of Nkulumane 5 are living in shame after their stepmother allegedly caught them having se'x. The incident happened on 26 December 2013. The stepmother of the two minors, who are teens revealed that she caught them busy in the act in the early hours of Boxing Day in the sitting room where they sleep as she was making her way to the toilet to relieve herself. In an interview last Thursday the shocked mother said her daughter (14) opened up about the se'xual relationship with her brother (15) after she and her husband had thoroughly beaten the incestuous siblings. "She told us that every night after everyone had gone to sleep the two of them would have se'x because her brother had proposed love to her. "She said he told her that it was natural for people who love each other to have se'x. I am amazed that she fell for that because she is an intelligent girl. "But we got nothing from the brother as he refused to co-operate. He denied that he was sleeping with his sister. He even called me a liar in front of his father and said I was falsely accusing him because I hate him," she said. The stepmother, who disclosed that she and her husband had been fed up with the disgraced boy and had concurred to send him to his biological mother who stays in Pumula South high-density suburb, said she was finding it difficult to face her neighbours and friends after the embarrassing incident somehow became known through the gr*pevine. "I don't know how news of what happened got out, it goes to show that walls have ears, but I can tell you that the whole family is embarrassed. When we are walking on the streets we see that people are talking about us and somehow you become paranoid and think that everyone who laughs, whispers or looks at you is talking about the se'xual relationship of my son and daughter," she said. The father was not available to comment. The discredited sister told Sunday News that the incident had given her sleepless nights and destroyed her family. "My father now hates us and I can tell that he is disgusted by the way he looks at me. I am sorry for what I did and I wish I had not done it. My brother was chucked out of the house and he now lives in Pumula South with my mother," said the tearful 14-year-old. Sunday News called the disgraced brother last Friday morning and he denied that he was sleeping with his sister and vowed that he was going to make his stepmother pay for tarnishing his image. "I love my sister and my stepmother is jealous of that. She has always been on my case because I don't treat her like my mother. She is the reason my parents' marriage ended. I hate her. She is lying that I was sleeping with my sister, I can never do that because it's unnatural," he said .

REVEALED: 4 Sneaky Games That Women Play With Men… Guys Don’t Be Fooled!

couple laying
Often times men are accused of being cheaters and players, but let’s not get it twisted.. Women can be just as guilty of the same thing.  Why don’t we take a look at some of the games they play!

She Plays the Emotional Card

Women like to get mad at little things here and there. For example, say you miss her phone call and you don’t return the call on time. She’ll start yelling at you.  She catches you glancing at another woman, she may give you the silent treatment. But here’s the WORSE thing for her to do.  Say she asks you for something and you don’t want to give it to her, what does she do to make sure she gets her way? She plays the EMOTIONAL CARD! Men, be weary of fake tears! They may just be a way to get you to commit to doing something that you don’t want to do.

She Refuses To Sleep With You

If your woman normally sleeps with you on a regular basis, and you have upset her or have refused to listen to her demands, she may try to hit you where it really hurts! In the bedroom! Women know how much men can get addicted to this particularly fun pass time, and they can use it as a way to manipulate and get their way.  So be strong and don’t give in.

She Uses Her “Good-Good” To Play Games With You

For example say she knows that you are planning on going out with your friends for the night, and she is feeling insecure about you going out with your friends for the weekend.  Just as you are about to leave she sends you a thrilling text, tricking you to come over for the night so she can put her insecurities to rest.

She Flirts With Another Guy

If she flirts with another guy she is very foolish because at the end of the day it just shows that she is disrespectful, and quite possibly very untrustworthy.  The goal with this game she is playing? She is trying to get your attention and make you jealous.  Don’t fall for her trick!

3 TYPES OF LADIES THAT A NIGERIAN MAN WILL NOTICE FIRST, AND APPROACH FIRST

Couple On Date

1. The woman with the nicest body. If your stomach sticks out further than your breasts, or your butt, you have automatically been disqualified. That is not attractive. The winner will always be the woman who is fit/thin with either a large and perky butt, or very large br3asts. If the woman is blessed to have both a large butt and large br3ast on a fit/thin frame, she will triumph over the rest of the women. 2. The most stylish woman. Ladies, please be careful with the way you dress. There are ways to dress for attention that will still show people that you are a very respectable woman. Remember, when you are in a group of women your main goal is to be the FIRST one to catch the man’s eye.
You have to be the first to stand out, if you are not the first to stand out, another woman’s ONE eye catching quality will outshine all that you have to offer. Make sure you are dressed nice from head to toe. Also, dress in BRIGHT colors. Men are like dogs, when they see bright clothing, or shiny jewelry, it will catch their eye. That’s what you need, once you catch eye, it’s up to you to make it work.
3. The quiet one. If you are outshined in dressing, if you are outshined in beauty, if you are outshined in body type, you have to use your WIT. You may think that the best way would be to open your mouth, and try and over talk everyone else to make sure that you get attention. Sure, you’ll get attention, but I guarantee you it will not be the kind of attention that you want.
When you are quiet, and I mean QUIET. Say NOTHING. When the guys are talking to your friends. Act uninterested. Make sure you stay around the group. But act uninterested, use your eyes to catch eye contact with the man you find interesting. But have BLANK stare. In fact, catch his eye.
Blink once or twice, with an expressionless face. And I PROMISE you, he will be curious about you. Say NOTHING. Your strength is in your mystery. Everyone will want to know about you. Because you have not readily displayed yourself. Remember, your strength is in your MYSTERY. He’ll know you’re thinking something.
He won’t know WHAT. He won’t know if you are judging him. He won’t know if you are admiring him. It is important to keep your expression BLANK. Make sure that he cannot read your emotions. Practice this in the mirror before attempting to use this tactic
