President Goodluck Jonathan has called a meeting with the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, as well as the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, David Parradang.
The summon on the two officials is not unconnected to the death of over 17 persons who died at different venues of the recruitment test conducted by the Immigration Service on Saturday.
Many Nigerians are calling for the sack of Moro and Parradang, accusing them of bungling the exercise.
Both men reportedly spent over one hour in the office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Oladehinde Arogbofa, who led them to see the President.
Thirty minutes later, the embattled officials emerged from the President’s office alongside the COS.
They all refused to make any comment.
